so what did you have for breakfastsausages and eggos with peanut butter and syrup
peanut butter, thats pretty daring
on your eggo?
yep yep
:P
does peanut butter figure highly into your musical style
yes highly.. i'd say it was why it all got started in the first place
could you tell us a little bit about that? when did it all get started?
well. (as i wipe the peanut butter stains from my keyboard) really i started
i guess in my second year of high school
which would have been.. 92?
dont ask me :] sounds good!
so it was the keyboard that got it goin.. what were you listening to? any direct inspiration or did you just conjure it up yerself?
or was it the pb/
mostly the peanut butter, but i guess overall the largest influence was a friend
of mine who introduced me to an early mod tracker, at that point i really hadnt
discovered music in any sense really which is strange.
but you were interested in it and liked to listen, right? And felt the need for a(nother?) creative outlet?
was your friends name Wally? I knew a mod Wally.
i didnt know a wally, although thats a good name for a mod. yeah i wasnt sure
what to do about that interest. at that point i guess i didnt feel driven enough
to want to know more about it. most of my time was spent drawing. not with peanut
butter.
:O oh.. no peanut buttter. humm
well. some maybe , not on waffles
:] I like your visual art too. when did that start up?
really early, probably around 5
then i think i did use pb
rad!
word is that you recently graduated with a major in Fine Arts. So what are you up to right now on the business side of things?
and when you were younger did you draw sloth monkeys?
I certainly hope so!
haha the sloth monkeys came later, but im sure i have some sloth monkeyesque
people drawings. ive been much too lethargic to think about self promotion,
i was about ready once and then it didnt happen
i guess just constantly evaluating worth which can really hold you back
or not
but you've come across some industry-know-how peeps who are interested eh?
I think your tracks are worth every readers time! So I take it you are picky
about what you release then?
pretty picky nose picky type picky, i dunno how much that matters though, mostly
doin what makes sense and makes me happy
i like dedicating tracks often though and that nice and chesse
thats the way to play! makes the honeys happy too to get a song for em ;-)
so whats making you excited right now in your music and what you're hearing?
like whats on my playlist? i guess, i just picked up some kid606, some of its
fascinating, somes a bit irritating, isotope 217 constantly amazes me i think.
also been playing a lot of the artists from micromusic and tefosav
kewl kewl yeah kid606 aint half bad :-D what about in your own music? any
techniques you've discovered you could share or favorite tracks you've made?
i like working with other people. i think some of my favorite tracks have been
the ones where ive either remixed or been remixed. its great to find so many
other people on the net that you can work with. recently i was pretty happy
with a track i did for boaz. some of the tracks ive been putting together for
this next demo im sending out this week im really excited about
kewl nooze a new demo! best of luck with that! so where do you think all
of this mixing and collaborating will go in the future?
hehehe, i dunno, maybe some kind of bizarre show, with a camera link to the
other members. wow nice red tones badass webartist you are
dammit my bandwidth is shit here
i want to download these tracks though
yeah it could be like the princess leah projection where every member is in BFE, countrywhatever. And theyre all 'playing together' on stage! woo woo woo crazy sci-fi future funk! hehe wut r u downloading?
thanx for the complement btw :-)
well the last time i looked at ginsick the links were still dead so im dling
these tracks.. the 001.(1.1)'s
they were dead coz I was showing you it while I was working on it silly :-P compliment* doah! so where do you see the music industry headed?
at least I hope thats why they were dead..
hahaha.. i dunno, there's always a lot going on. too much for me to envision
what would be next i think.. history is always reinventing itself in new ways
for new things. but knowing how that will turn out is tricky and i think id
like to be a part of it not necessarily knowing what my or someones elses role
is in it.
as long as theres enough peanut butter to go around everthing should be fine
a fan of spontaneity eh? that shows in your music sometimes though I also
hear a more methodical side as well... maybe its like the ying and yang of composing,
the PB&J if you will..
hahaha
yea i guess thats a possibility
ok now I want to fire off some quick rounds so give me a sí or nein depending
on what yer stance is. cds, mp3s, vinyl, or toothpaste?
vinyl toothpaste
I guess thats not a yes or no question :-[ is this a yes or no question?
toothpaste?
LOL
hahaha
yeah
*whew*
hahaha
ha
have you ever seen carrie fisher nude
god no
do you want to see free indubitably fake nude photos of Carrie Fisher?
haha no i think ill stick to the vision of her and harrison ford and mark hammil
getting it on on the set of star wars
did you like episode 1?
yes i liked it very much
Hardware or software?
both :-)
god i hate that smiley
( note: jerohme is referring to the standard AOLim smileys )
:]
that ones better
dankewe. so how would you describe your style?
that im not sure about i think
but its as amoth as a 14 yr old boys mustache
amoth=smooth though
shit mwahaa
thats 95% smooth eh
a little noise maybe?
hehe
okie well thanks a lot for spending some time out of your busy schedule
with me, any closing comments for the enooze kids?
haha work hard, stay in school
