Out soon through Planet Mu, Andrew ‘FaltyDL’ Lustman’s Love Is A Liability is one of the most incredible records I’ve heard all year: shot through with clubland soul and urbane poise, sometimes wailing, sometimes groaning, always thrilling. "To New York" is a fairly great representation of what the whole thing’s about, revelling on its metropolitan raver stroll through the hardcore, jungle, IDM (sorry), garage, dubstep, grime and wonky (sorry again) heard coming from open windows as ecstatic feet pop and flinch along cooling summer evening pavements.
